Morbid Obesity
Morbid obesity (serious or severe) is the one that presents excessive fat deposits below the skin and in different organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, arteries, etc. and that causes or can cause many disorders that directly affect the health of the individual, generating simultaneously other diseases.

A person is considered with morbid obesity, when his/her weight exceeds 45 kg or 100 lbs. the ideal weight, or his /her body mass index body mass index is 40 or greater.
