Body Mass Index (BMI)
The Body Mass Index is a method to determine the degree of obesity in people. It is obtained by dividing the weight between the square of the height.
People with a Body Mass Index of 40 or higher classify themselves as a Morbid obese, thus eligible of being subject of surgery , like those with a Body Mass Index of at least 35 or more but with one or more diseases associated with obesity.
